Finding My Calling As a Photographer

I was always a visual person, long before I ever picked up a camera.

My affinity for gorgeous design and striking aesthetics made me a natural fit for marketing, so I started my career in corporate America. I developed a strong eye for those subtle but impactful details that spark the imagination and inspire emotions. I’d also always had an entrepreneurial spirit, so after 20 years of working with amazing teams and big corporate brands, I decided to venture out on my own and start my own boutique marketing consultancy.

Along the way, I nurtured photography as a hobby, bringing my camera along on my frequent nature walks and hikes. The way photography allowed me to indulge my two greatest passions — beautiful visuals and the great outdoors — had me reconsidering whether this was just a hobby or something greater. It felt like a calling that I wanted to pursue much more seriously, with my heart and soul.

Today, I’m proud to call myself a professional photographer and member of Professional Photographers of America, specializing in landscape, nature, and outdoor portrait photography. I’m known for harnessing the beauty of natural light, particularly the golden hour before sunset, to bring out the inner radiance of my subjects. It’s an honor and a privilege to be invited to share these special moments with my clients. I’m also a big believer in giving back to the community, so I frequently volunteer my services to local organizations.

When I don’t have my finger on the shutter, I’m spending time with my beautiful daughter, who I’m proud to call my best friend, and my darling rescue dog.
